The safest ways to browse

   Use a device he cannot reach

   A library computer, a friend’s phone, or a computer at work or at a shelter. This is the only option that leaves nothing behind on your own device. If you can do this, do this.

   Use a private window

   In Chrome or Edge it is called Incognito. In Safari and Firefox it is Private Browsing. Pages you open there are not saved to your history. Note that this does not hide anything from monitoring software installed on the device.

   Clear your history afterward

   This works, but be aware: an empty history can itself look suspicious to someone who checks regularly. Deleting only the last hour, rather than everything, often draws less attention.

How we protect your information

• We never publish the address of any of our homes. Not on this website, not in a brochure, not to anyone who asks.
• This website runs no advertising trackers, no analytics pixels, and no third-party scripts.
• Our housing application does not save your answers in your browser as you type. If you close the page before submitting, nothing is left behind on your device.
• On the application you can tell us whether it is safe to call you, safe to leave a voicemail, and safe to email you. We follow exactly what you tell us.
