Our program
Somewhere between a shelter and a lease.
Structured independent living is the step that is missing almost everywhere. It is not a program you graduate from or a facility you are placed in. It is a home, with rules, that you pay for and that you leave when you are ready.
What we provide
What you actually get.
A room to call your own
A furnished room in a clean, well-kept home, with a door that locks and a key of your own. Shared and private rooms are both available.
All-inclusive rent
One payment covers your rent, utilities, WiFi, and laundry, so there is no surprise bill that undoes a month of progress.
Structure and independence
Clearly defined housing expectations, in a home monitored around the clock for everyone’s safety. You live independently, as an adult, and you are treated like one.
Stability, for as long as you need it
No one is rushed or asked to leave before they are ready. You stay as long as you need to build the rental history, savings, and stability that lead to a place of your own.
What we ask
And what we ask of you.
Shared housing only works when everybody holds up their end. There are no surprises, and no complicated leases.
- Pay your rent on time
- Follow the house rules you agreed to
- Respect the people you live with
- Stay free of drugs and alcohol in the home
- Communicate with us when something goes wrong
What we are
- Room-based independent living in clean, safe homes
- Affordable, all-inclusive rent
- Supportive structure and accountability
- A pathway to long-term stability and self-sufficiency
What we are not
- A homeless shelter
- A drug or alcohol treatment facility
- A halfway house or correctional program
- 24-hour supervised or medical care
If one of these is what you need, we will tell you quickly and try to point you somewhere better. That is more useful to you than a slow maybe.
