Who we house in Pennsylvania

Adults 18 and over with a verifiable monthly income who can live independently. Our residents do not need supervision or treatment. What they need is a clean, safe, affordable room and enough stability to save, work, and qualify for a place of their own.

We are not a shelter, a treatment facility, or a halfway house. We are the step in between, which is the step most people in Pennsylvania cannot find.

Referring a client in Pennsylvania

We accept referrals from shelters, case managers, and agencies across Pennsylvania, and we accept direct applications with no referral at all.

1. 01

   Referral

   A partner submits a referral form with client information. An individual can also reach out directly, with no referral needed.

2. 02

   Screening

   We review the referral for eligibility and current availability, and respond promptly either way.

3. 03

   Interview

   We meet with the client by phone or in person. It is a straightforward conversation to make sure the fit is right, for them and for us.

4. 04

   Placement

   Successful candidates complete move-in and orientation, and receive the keys to their room.
